Blue Bulls coach Frans Ludeke made only one change to the side that beat Western Province in a Currie Cup match last weekend for Friday night's match against the Sharks in Durban.

The call-up to the Springbok side for Wynand Olivier gives yet another Blue Bulls Under-21 player, Stefan Watermeyer, a chance to play in South Africa's top premier competition.

The 26 year-old, Monty Dumond, will start at flyhalf in the absence of suspended Guy Cronje when the Sharks take on the Bulls on Friday night.

Stefan Terblanche (pictured) captains the team again.

Young Cronje received a one-week ban for a dangerous tackle committed against Boland last weekend, opening the door for Dumond to make his first start of the season.
