Free State Cheetahs
Match Day: 31 July,2009, Friday
Time: 17:10 GMT
Venue: Vodacom Park, Bloemfontein

The Free State team is:

Hennie Daniller, Danwel Demas, Corné Uys, Robert Ebersohn, Jongi Nokwe, Jacques-Louis Potgieter, Tertius Carse, Francois Uys, Hendro Scholtz (capt.), Johan Wessels, David de Villiers, Nico Breedt, WP Nel, Adriaan Strauss, Wian du Preez.

The Sharks Team is:

15 Stefan Terblanche (captain), 14 Odwa Ndungane/Luzuko Vulindlu, 13 Andries Strauss, 12 Riaan Swanepoel, 11 Lwazi Mvovo, 10 Guy Cronje, 9 Rory Kockott, 8 Ryan Kankowski, 7 Jean Deysel, 6 Jacques Botes, 5 Albert van den Berg, 4 Steven Sykes, 3 Patric Cilliers/Wiehahn Herbst, 2 Craig Burden, 1 Deon Carstens/Patric Cilliers.

Under-pressure Naka Drotske's Cheetahs side host the Sharks in Bloemfontein needing a win to haul themselves from the wrong end of the table after securing just a single point so far this season.

They've lost three games on the bounce and the pressure on Drotske is growing. Springbok Jongi Nokwe is back on the left wing after sitting out last week while Frans Viljoen starts on the flank in for the injured Johan Wessels.

The third-placed Sharks have resisted the temptation to start with their new marquee signing Juan Martin Hernandez. Guy Cronje starts in the flyhalf berth while in further good news for Plumtree, fiery scrum-half Rory Kockott has been cleared to play after being cited and Springbok Waylon Murray makes his long-awaited return from injury.

The Sharks do have a number of injury concerns, though, as Odwa Ndungane, Michael Rhodes and Deon Carstens are also nursing a variety of ailments and might not make Friday's game.
